Kangri or Kangdi is a fire pot, a container which the Kashmiri people are using in winters to keep them warm, as most of the season in Kashmir is very chill. One who supplies the material is known as kaanul, One who makes kangri is known as kangri goor and one who sells it is known as kanger wool. Kashmir is a place that doesn’t need any introduction. The state is a rich and vast cultural heritage with an abundance of art, crafts, religion, music, architecture and clothing. The deep rooted traditional values of the state give us the glimpse of fondness for food, music, culture and clothing. The clothing of the Kashmir is the expression of its unique social cultural ethos of the state.
