Who Not to Believe in, and Why Not
ByLoran Joly (The Jaeger Group)
Usually printed in 3 - 5 business days
There is much talk about Believing in Yourself, and Self-Trust.
Might it be as simple as figuring out that not all people are the Same, and that we need to figure out who Not to Believe in, and then this "business" of Believing in Ourselves will quickly sort itself out?
Covered are the role of words in sizing people up, and why some people prefer not to use harsh words to "sort" people: into thus, the Empathetic Person, vs. the Non-Empathetic Person.
Discussed, too, is the view of David Viscott, MD, who discusses, in his book "Risking", how some people "continually seek the love he [or she] lacked in all the wrong places, and in the wrong way."
And the work of Dr. Alice Miller is also cited, as per "Thou Shalt Not Be Aware".
Finally, there is a short reference to Frederick Douglass and Booker T. Washington, whom were leaders in the area of slavery freedoms.
The author, 61, is a long-term resident of Kentucky, and has completed West Point, having gone there hoping to become a physician, and specialized there in Electrical Engineering, as well as a host of people-based subjects; he also, at the later age of 41, attended Berea College part-time for four years, studying mathematics.
