A Common Sense Approach to Esther

This book has always intrigued me because it tells of a woman that is put into position by God to save her people, the Israelites, from annihilation. The question that enters my mind is why would they be destroyed? We need to go back into scripture to find the answer for this. This proves why it is so important to read the whole Bible. This story also helps us to understand how important obedience is and how detrimental disobedience can be for our future as well as all those who come behind us. I believe that is the main reason the Lord allowed this book to be included in His Holy Word.
