Alex and Emily Fight The Storm

Mrs. Van Buskirk’s class worked all year to write and illustrate this book. The students integrated science, art and language arts to create an interesting and funny book about two students in 3rd grade. See if you can spot a simile, correct punctuation of quotations, singular and plural possessive nouns,and mood elements. These are a few skills we incorporated into our story. The illustrations were created with the help of Mrs. Graffeo, our talented art teacher. Mrs. Van Buskirk would also like to thank her sister, Mrs. Smith for helping with the technology. It took a long time, but I think it was worth the wait. We hope you enjoy our book!
