Fabula Anatina
A Duckish Tale in Latin
ByIrene La PreziosaLuke Amadeus Ranieri
Usually printed in 3 - 5 business days
Fābula Anatīna is a short story composed in Latin in the style of children’s books, that both young and adult learners of Latin will find to be an engaging way to exericse the skill of reading. For students using the Lingua Latina Per Se Illustrata series, the difficulty roughly corresponds to that found in Chapter 26; although the text was not strictly controlled for the vocabulary in Familia Romana, much of it can be learned there.
This book presents a vocabulary of 430 words and a glossary containing a translation into English of each. In the narrative most verbal tenses and moods can be found, excluding the subjunctive.
The audiobook with illustrated PDF is available for purchase at LukeRanieri.com, while the paperback edition of this book is sold separately at lulu.com.
The authors hope this tale about the odyssey of a young duckling, which was composed, illustrated, and recorded with great love, will bring a smile to the face of the reader.
