This contains volumes II and III of Howard's three volume work on The Climate of London. It contains his daily observations made between 1806 and 1829, which are collated into tables. It also includes information that he garnered from newspaper reports and any experimental work he undertook. The International Association for Urban Climate (IAUC) undertook this project because of the importance of The Climate of London to the history of urban climate studies. Howard was the first to identify the urban heat island phenomenon.
