Written and illustrated by L.Verhelst, V.Verhelst and M.Verhelst this is a parody of “The Phantom of the Opera” an awesome musical by Andrew Lloyd Webber, based on the French novel Le Fantôme de l'Opéra by Gaston Leroux and you may spot several other musical classics and cameos as well. “The Phantom of the Christmas Pud” revolves around an eccentric millionaire, Hugh Bullfrog, who becomes obsessed with finding a mysterious, disfigured gastronomic desert. This takes him to the mysterious island of Goosberry where he meets Major Charles “Badger” Wooden of the Royal Latrines who, for a fee, agrees to guide him in his quest.
