Lyricist: Poems, Performances, Verses, and Songs

Lyricist was written in hopes that the near future brings more socially conscious society, one that recognizes H.I.P H.O.P and the serious artists in the field as the literary gems that we are. The writing in this book encompasses my views on a plethora of subjects including History, The Prison Industrial Complex, Heaven, The Ghetto, Love/Lust, Politics, Time as a philosophical concept, The System, Upward Mobility, Freedom, and the meaning of being American. Lyricist is divided into four sections: Poems, Performances, Verses, and Songs. Throughout the book certain bodies of work will be preceded by a brief description of the particular motives, circumstances and concepts surrounding the piece. Rock wit ME!!!!
