This is the story of two brothers, Ramel and Bronel.
Ramel, the younger is fat and eats any rubbish he can find; while Bronel, the older brother, is thin and enjoys only sophisticated and healthy food. The brothers fall into various mishaps when Bronel follows his refined taste. However, in the end they find that they can live happily together despite their differences. Bronel becomes famous for his recipe of Igra, a Middle Eastern speciality made with aubergines (eggplant). When his friends eat this dish and like it, they nickname him Igra, because he cooks it very often and very well. The recipe is given by him at the end of the book.
In order to keep the price low, the pictures in the book are not colored. The children may amuse themselves by coloring the drawings to their taste, thus participating in the making of the book.
