Misfortune Favors the Meek

Fortune may favor the bold, but precious few of us are bold. Caught up in misery after misery, one nameless child is anything but bold. Without either family or a name, he's a small child trying to survive in a hard world. From the courts of royalty to the woods of winter to a humble-but-unfamiliar home, this nameless child tries simply to survive. A meeker creature one could never find. But there is bravery in silence, just as the greatest of deeds often come from the least likely of folk. One nameless child will prove that misfortune may favor the meek, but that does not mean that they cannot find bravery deep within themselves.
