The Updated King James Version (UKJV) is an updated translation of the Authorized King James Version
(KJV), updating archaic words and certain expressions in the KJV. This was done by replacing old
expressions and archaic words with alternatives selected by contextual comparison and by examining the
original Hebrew or Greek words in Strong’s concordance. As a result the UKJV retains the unique structure
of the KJV English and makes it easier to read and understand by replacing words and phrases that are hard
or archaic in nature. Contains the books of the New Testament from Matthew to Revelation.
