“Quotations by Chairman Mao Zedong,” also known as, “Mao's Little Red Book” is the second most published book, second only to The Bible. Published from 1964-1979, this work played a critical role in Chinese history by providing guidance for China’s Cultural Revolution by putting the science of Marxism in the hands of the masses. It is composed of quotes from Mao throughout the revolution, both before and after seizing state power.
