Overcoming The Hot Stress Mess is an exploration of how a person can overcome the human stress response in the moment during non-life threatening stress, called "Administrative Strain." Whether an individual is in actual life-and-death peril or is in a perceived state of administrative strain, the physical and mental reactions are the same.
This means that when we are faced with a difficult situation, our perception (hearing, eyesight), cognitive abilities (shutting down pre-frontal cortex / increasing Amygdala response), and physical reactions occur. These difficult situations could be in a meeting with a boss, during a difficult project at work, or even with interpersonal relationships.
Explore the L.E.A.R.N. method to overcome the involuntary release of stress hormones into the bloodstream. With intent, focus, and determination, the limiting hormones can be overcome.
