Confessions of a Middle-Aged Cubanita
Usually printed in 3 - 5 business days
The confessions in this little book are in no particular order. It is autobiographical; I just reserve the right to tell my story in the order in which I want to tell it. Instead of going in chronological order, I am just sharing snippets of things that happened to me, or my reflections on the things that define me, or rather, the things that have influenced me in such a way that the memories come out of nowhere and surprise me, conjured up by a smell or a taste, or a musical riff that suddenly takes me back to some moment in my childhood. I thoroughly enjoyed reminiscing and writing about the stuff in this book. I had a good childhood. I can look back upon it and focus on that beautiful time in my life and say, well, I survived being a kid. Now, if I could only figure out how to survive being an adult. That’s the ticket.
