Created as part of the AMBruno's Margins project (2022). Medieval manuscripts can be highly colourful and ornamented works of art. Many contain drawings and decorations in margins. These might be the work of the reader or of the scribe, ranging from pointing fingers or octopuses indicating significant text and doodles around catchwords to extraordinary creatures. There are also scenes, some sweetly domestic, while others are rather surprising. Each leaf of this plain white book gives a brief description of a piece of marginalia.
