Marilyn is a native Californian, born in Hollywood. She was raised in the San Fernando Valley where she attended school through 2 years of Junior College. She is an artist who works mainly in acrylics for her landscape paintings. She also creates Life Masks, loves photography, and has recently ventured into the art of illustration. Marilyn started working at JCPenney while a high school senior. That's where she met her future husband, Ross. Ross retired in February of 1998 after 40 years with JCP. Marilyn spent about 35 years with JCP before having great adventures in other fields. She and Ross retired to Palm Springs as full time residents in December of 2004. Through her husband's interests with the Knights of Columbus Marilyn has been the State Art Director for the State Council of the Knights in California for several of the past 12 years. She and Ross enjoy spending time as often as possible with friends and family, especially her daughter, son-in-law and two grandson
