Wildfire

Telling the story of a young woman, Mika, searching for the pieces of her life. Moving again to her new home in Fore Cove, she is reluctant to find change when change keeps finding her. Though her mother, Jeannette, may be excited for their fourth or fifth move, Mika sees the town as too perfect. Stuck in the constant circle of routine, Mika longs to meet the man who accounts for half her existence. Mika does find Fire Cove’s one redeeming quality, Will Montague, the boy next door. Paul, Jeannette’s new boyfriend, adds to her misery. He says he wants to be a father figure, but his actions are doing all the talking. The story will make you think and wonder about what really does go on behind closed doors.
