Family Genealogy is a book of stories and archive materials covering more than seven generations. Author Marion Grabowski built upon original genealogical research by her great aunt –Ellen Isham Schutt Wallis– who was an illustrator for the Department of Agriculture in the early 20th century. Marion continued the project with additional stories from her generation forward. Many of the family stories hold historical interest, following the life on the railroad and the role of members of this family in the history of Watkins, New York and Arlington, Virgina. The book is richly illustrated with images from the family archive. The publication of this book was a family affair. It was designed by Marion's second child, daughter Beth Grabowski with additional work on photographic restoration by daughter Cathy Stark, Marion's fourth child.
