Quote from Musings: “If I were young, I would be frightened / Of reality… I do not know / If you are young / Or old… to be deceived / By the appearance of age is natural. / Perhaps, if you are young, / Then you are merely sleeping. / I slept for twenty-five odd years. / But now I am awake / In this brave new world, / Drinking coffee at this early / Hour and smoking cigarettes / So words might flow, / So you, through my veins, / Might flow.”
