Mark C. Brown first started writing simple stories for his children. In fact, they were his inspiration. Many times when his children were young they would say amazing sentences which captured his imagination. The Hello/Goodbye series was born when his daughter (who was only three at the time) asked about why the leaves were changing. The answer caused her to say, "Goodbye Summer, Hello Autumn". And the series was born.
Years later his youngest daughter let go of her balloon one day and started to cry. She was comforted by the fact that her balloon was going on an adventure. She looked up and saw the moon in the sky and asked, "The balloons going to the moon", and hence Balloon on the Moon was born.
Mark writes for his children and for fun, he has made his books available for other to share the joy too.
Mark C. Brown is British born and lives with his wife and six children on the east coast of America.
