In October of 2004, Kim McNabb was diagnosed with Breast Cancer. After a double mastectomy, reconstructive surgery and an aggressive, dose-dense chemotherapy treatment that ended in June of 2005, we settled back into our normal life. Christmas morning of 2005, Kim, thinking she had strained her shoulder opening the attic access, found a small lump on her upper chest, not far from where she first discovered her original tumor.
Three days later, a surgeon removed all he could of a new tumor and re-inserted her IV port.
A blog site was set up to disseminate the latest doctor reports.
It quickly gave way to a forum to share her Faith and have it reinforced to her by the comments from her many friends. This is the complete manuscript from that blog—from start to finish. On the night of her passing, the site had recorded more than 54,213 hits.
