This is a superb and impressive historical book, providing an insight into Japan and the legendary Japanese swordsman Miyamoto Musashi, as well as the timeless code of Ethics: The Law of Harmony, Justice and Truth.
Musashi was also a great Zen Master and Peacemaker; and an accomplished artist, sculptor and calligrapher. (1584-1645)
Musashi 's legacy is synonymous with the triumph of Good and ending war and bloodshed - as in any war there are no winners; only losers and survivors, who may have won a few insignificant battles, but ultimately lost the most important battle of all - namely the fight for Peace.
We wish to remind all Global Citizens that the importance of belonging to Humanity takes precedence over all the marks of distinction that may separate one person from another.
The thing that matters most is not that we have any particular cultural or national identity, or that we abide by any particular religious or philosophical conviction, but that we share with all People the highest values of Humanity: Love, Cooperation and Compassion.

Miyamoto Musashi was born in Japan when the country emerged from decades of civil strife and war.
Unlike his rival Sasaki Kojirō, whose cruelty contrasts with Musashi's reflective and selfless nature, Musashi perceives the way of peaceful and prosperous governance and disciplines himself to be kind and humane.
He becomes a hero to a host of people whose lives he has touched and been touched by; leading up to his climactic duel with Sasaki Kojiro on Ganryujima 巌流島 Funa Island.
Musashi is a masterpiece in the best tradition of Japanese story telling; with interweaving themes of unrequited love, misguided revenge, filial piety, prostitution and dedication to the Way of the Samurai, teeming with memorable characters - many of them historical, such as the lovely Otsu and funny Zen Master Takuan Sōhō.
Full of gusto and humor, it's also a bit of a parody of medieval Japan.
But first and foremost this is a great epic of Humanity, Healing and Harmony.
