Angela Merkel has insisted that her position as a lame duck in the last month of her time in office made it impossible for her to prevent Putin's illegal war on Ukraine, in 2022.
Merkel said that her ability to negotiate with Putin was always minimal; even though both spoke fluently the language of the other, and she was a great admirer of Russian culture and literature, making her the ideal Peacemaker for Russia.
But Merkel's trust was violated by Putin. Regrettably Putin has become sick like Stalin and cannot be trusted anymore. Hence Putin must go.
Merkel felt misunderstood over what she tried to achieve as Western leader, facing a barrage of accusations over some of her choices, such as her decision to block Ukraine’s admission to Nato in Bucharest in 2008; a mistake exploited by Putin.
Merkel compared herself to Neville Chamberlain, the UK leader associated with the policy of appeasement towards the Nazi leader Adolf Hitler, by allowing him to expand the territory of Nazi Germany in the 1930s.
Putin's illegal war on Ukraine has resulted in millions of deaths on both sides and caused Europe's largest refugee crisis since World War II; 14 million People being displaced within Ukraine and 6 million People living outside the country as refugees.
Also Putin's war on Ukraine sparked a global food crisis.
The UN General Assembly passed a resolution condemning the invasion and demanding a full withdrawal of Russian forces.
It should be noted that the borders of both Ukraine and Russia have been internationally recognized and defined in 1991; Russia recognizing Ukraine's independence.
Hence Russia should honor this agreement.
The International Criminal Court has issued an arrest warrant against Putin, which the Kremlin should comply with to restore the Rule of Law in the International Community.
NB: We aim to manifest World Peace.
Hence we have founded the International Peacebuilding Alliance to replace NATO, the Russian Armed Forces and US Armed Forces.
The IPA will handle policy Russia until International Human Rights Law has been restored, as stipulated by the UN Charter.
