John and his friend Roy get the experience of a lifetime during their first visit to a logging camp during Christmas vacation. The Lumberjacks are big strong men, but not as scary as the boys had expected. They are on an adventure to find new sliding hills, their favorite winter activity. In the evenings, they listen to the Lumberjack's stories wondering what to believe.
