Old Shatterhand is waiting for a steamship to take him back to the Wild West, and to Winnetou; he and two other westerners with the same travel destination get together in a seaman's tavern on the shores of the River Elbe in Hamburg. Beer aplenty flows as tales of their exploits during their sojourn in Germany entertains the sailors around them.
