People with a huge passion for discovering the world have a Wanderlust spirit. We, the wanderlusters, enjoy the travel by itself with no need to go anywhere in particular. This piece describes the force that encourages us to undertake a journey and the amazing feeling of uncertainty when visiting an unknown place. This excitement is like a powerful sea weave crashing in our souls. When our trips are finishing, we feel satisfied but the wanderlust spirit remains there looking to organize a new travel. Wanderlust for piano solo was composed in the summer of 2019 when my wanderlust spirit guided me to South Italy. This piece is inspired by the beautiful sea of Gallipoli.
