Karl Braden knows what he wants in life: money, respect and eventually a woman to share it with. Once an archeologist, Karl quickly discovers a way to make more money with less work. After Karl steals a valuable Aztec amulet, he and archeologist, Pamela Jones are transported back in the past to the time of the Aztec empire. Together, the pair manage to help the Aztecs fight off the Spaniards, but at what cost? Dealing with the Spaniards is the easy part, falling in love and learning to trust, that's the real battle. If and when they return home, will home even be there?
