Hero M15 took on the role of both parents after his beloved mate Harriet went missing. M15 was left alone to raise his two four week old eaglets E21 and E22. He fought off several intruders, even fighting with them on the nest on top of the eaglets. It was a huge challenge to feed, and protect and defend his nest and babies, but he got both eaglets to fledge and both went off on their own life journey, making M15 Father of the Year.
