The visitation of the county of Cumberland in the year 1615 taken by Richard St. George, Norroy king of arms. Ed. by John Fetherston. First published by the Harleian Society in 1872. This is a facsimile copy of the 1872 publication. Harleian MS. 1374 can scarcely be said to be a copy, but merely an ordinary of arms compiled from the Visitations of the four northern counties taken in this year, - those of Cumberland and Westmoreland extending from folios twelve to fifteen b, - accompanied with a few drawings, and at the end of the volume are trickings of arms from the Visitations of Shropshire, 1623. On folios twenty seven and twenty eight are fifty three shields of arms of the Cumberland gentry, hastily tricked in printed escocheons (sic); these will be found at the end of this volume.
