In the tradition of Rilke and Rumi, Brauer takes up the pen and writes poetry to everyman and everywoman. He writes of the human experience and of our relationship to the deity, whoever it may be. Brauer is not bound by any one belief system, except that as fellow travelers on this earth we should treat each other with grace. The book is organized along the medieval concept of prayers at fixed intervals. It is Brauer's hope that one by one we might all come together.
