About Marvin McKenzie

Pastor Marvin McKenzie was raised in the Pacific Northwest and became a Christian at the age of 18. He has devoted his 30 years of ministry to planting and pastoring churches in Oregon and Washington and to educating the next generation of Baptist preachers. Pastor Marvin McKenzie served as the Executive Vice President of Pacific Coast Baptist Bible College of San Dimas, California. There he helped lead the college to sell its California Campus and to purchase a campus in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The college was renamed to Heartland Baptist Bible College and continues to train men and ladies for the work of the gospel ministry. The McKenzie family left Heartland Baptist Bible College in the winter of 1999 to accept the call to pastor Bible Baptist Church of Puyallup, Washington. He has served in that capacity to present. The McKenzie's youngest son, Caleb is the current associate pastor and, the Lord willing, will soon step into the role of head pastor there. Marvin and Anita have two sons. Both are involved in the work of the ministry in Washington State
