A Bibliography for Juan Ruiz's LIBRO DE BUEN AMOR, Fourth Edition

This is the print version of Mary-Anne Vetterling's extensive bibliography on the Medieval LIBRO DE BUEN AMOR by Juan Ruiz, Archpriest of Hita, now in its fourth edition. It is also available as an e-book (through Lulu.com) and online at my-lba.com. It is best used in conjunction with these two tools, especially since the e-book provides a very useful search engine. This book contains a history of the bibliography, approximately 4000 references, followed by a list of many of the editions of this fourteenth-century masterpiece, a list of contributors, a list of other bibliographies, a section on inaccurate references, and a segment about the author. Prof. Vetterling has been researching the LIBRO DE BUEN AMOR for approximately 50 years and this book is a tribute to the importance of Juan Ruiz's book throughout the centuries, especially during the past 100 years. The story of why this bibliography came about and why it went from an online publication to a print publication is fascinating, along with its account of the changes in research techniques from in-person to on-line. This version is printed in color and is bound in a "hard cover."
