Two papers read before the City History Society of Philadelphia and published in 1911. Mary Blakiston and I P Willits, children of prominent mid-19th Century Holmesburg residents, relied heavily on S C Willits’ 1885 manuscript, A History of Lower Dublin Academy, which, ironically, lay unpublished for another 100 years.
