Gold medal orthopaedics

This book collates revision notes made during my higher surgical training in preparation for the FRCS(orth) exam. Sources included: annotation of all the usual surgical textbooks and websites, learning points from thousands of MCQs, notes made during weekly teaching and revision courses, teaching from my excellent trainers. Together it is a wide ranging set of notes covering most of the topics encountered during clinical practice and the FRCS(orth) exam. Warning These notes are presented in mindmap format. Personally I think this is an l excellent format- complex topics are broken down into clear structures, making it way to understand and talk about. It is populated with lots of diagrams and treatment algorithms. Others may prefer more conventional formats. Whilst this book contains a vast amount of knowledge, it is not intended to be a comprehensive textbook. There are other excellent traditional textbooks for that purpose.
