this is my first book.. took years to work on, whilst discovering many writing styles, whilst struggling with life, and myself. i took a great confidence, or leap, that a musicality could be found in all kinds of phrasings. and so, yes, you will find music, you will find humor, candor, sorrow, love, joy, friendships, secrets, all within rhythms that i cannot explain. there was no outright surrealist gesture that was made in the making of this work, but i soon found a kinship with writers such as mallarme, breton, duchamp, that was after it was finished. as well as some brilliant female writers such as gertrude stein and susan howe. 'hot pot' is itself, and done through the use of humor and non-sequiturs. the second book included entitled 'undying imaginary flower' is a comedic and rather crude reflex which shows the endearing qualities of man/woman relationships, as well as exploring the possibility of love within sexual stupidity. all in all, i hope someone checks this out.
