This New Age, supposedly that of Reason, would spawn its own horrors as it would become the Age of Revolutions, of Wars and of Industry. But as shining machines, fanciful books, powerful orators and wondrous new music distracted the faithful from God, man’s enemies still lurked and plotted from the darkness to use this for his destruction.
