Gideon

The land of ancient Israel lies in ruins, shattered by a band of ruthless raiders from the nearby nation of Midian. From the midst of the devastation, Gideon, a man of small account, is called to deliver his fellow Israelites from the hands of their enemies. But as the battle draws near, he is told that their only hope rests in a plan that seems likely to result not in their deliverance, but in their destruction. In the face of overwhelming odds, Gideon must now overcome his fears and doubts-or allow his people to be utterly destroyed.
