Where Has the Music Gone?

One very important question needs to be asked in today’s educational culture. How will society respect teachers if “experts” in education do not respect teachers? This book tells a story of a school that was once budding with composers of music and experts in the classrooms, to a school of one “expert” and little to no music being created or heard. The author interviewed over 30 veteran teachers to begin to understand why the culture of schools has changed and what needs to be done in the future in order for music to be composed again in our nations classrooms.
