Every year thousands of free spirited surfers visit Costa Rica. It is in Tamarindo, one of the Pacific Coast's eccentric surfing communities that we find our anti-heroes; two simple minded hicks and a somewhat more sophisticated reptile of whose thoughts you are sometimes made aware.
"Tamarindo" is about how Talbot and Simone devise a way to relieve foreigners of their money.
To hear them speak you would think that they would never lift a finger unless it was for the betterment of us all. Theft is just the grasping of opportunity and blackmail evens the disparity of unequal distribution, and as you might surmise, the victims are generally deserving of exposure.
This is a classic tale of the underdog and despite their unending catalog of corrupt and morally deficient actions you find yourself plotting alongside them and the malicious lizard Fernando.
