Africa has a population of 900 million people out of which Nigeria has 150 million. Without doubt, the labour force in Nigeria is a force to reckon with in national economic development plans. In addition, Nigeria is the sixth largest oil-producing nation in the world; she is an emerging African economic power and she belongs to the so-called six ‘MAVINS’ emerging global economies.
