1943. Salt Lake City, Utah. Aaron Parson, a young LDS man, says goodbye to his sweetheart, Jennie White, with a promise to marry her within the sacred walls of the temple upon his return. Destiny, however, has other plans. When a tragic event in Italy separates the young lovers, Aaron chooses to remain true to his precious values. In doing so, he is cast into a world of contrasts far from his religion, his country, and his family. Sixty years later, Aaron and Jennie are reunited, never again to be divided, in a thirteen-day adventure that will redefine the concept of endurance to the end per sempre.
