The “Murder on the Saint’s Day” is a one movement quartet for two violins, cello and double bass. The quartet was composed in June of 2009 for the Viana do Castelo International Music Festival in Portugal and was premiered on August 10, 2009 at the Teatro Sa Miranda by my wife violinist Irina Tsetlin, violinist Masaoki Inoue, cellist Nikolay Gimaletdinov and double bassist Artem Chirkov.
