Our Children Are My Heroes

When Michael and Laura Zdychnec's (pronounced Signet) son Brian joined the Marines their lives changed. They began a journey into the world of Honor, Courage, and Commitment that is "standard issue" for those serving our country today. They experienced the anxiousness of three combat deployments, attended the welcome home and farewell events for our troops, and the memorials for those making the ultimate sacrifice for our country. Through it all they found a deeper sense of patriotism than they ever expected. They found what it really means to be an American.
