The story of Losa Greer, a biracial woman who, having been raised by her family to distrust
the white race, learns that her real father is actually white, wealthy, and royal. Returning to his native land with him, she discovers that even Europeans can be bigots when his 'legitimate' family rejects her. After a suicide attempt, Losa is back in America and living a life of despair until, finally, she makes her way back to the Old World where she is reunited, in quite a startling manner, with her half-brothers...one of whom just might be in love with her.
