Five Six Seven

Five Six Seven is both a resource book and language programme for teachers of young learners of English who wish to implement a content-based course. Five Six Seven is organised into topic units, each containing tasks from different areas of the school curriculum suitable for this age group. Each unit consists of 6 lesson plans that explain the lesson procedure step by step. The idea behind Five Six Seven is to provide enjoyable yet challenging lessons for children of differing interests and abilities. Young learners are developing their knowledge and their ability to use language to question, understand and learn. This can also be applied to a second language. Integrating content and language learning is an effective way for young learners to acquire new language.
