AURO was and Earth boy whose parents were killed in a tragic spaceship accident. Marooned on Jupiter, the boy was raised by a Jovian Tiger, taught how to fend for himself, and was able to grow to adulthood with great strength and speed, compliments of Jupiter's heavy gravity. AURO traveled this massive planet, saving damsels in distress, fighting fearsome beasts, overpowering oppressive rulers and creating the legened of AURO – LORD OF JUPITER! These are his complete stories from Planet Comics (#1-7, #11-29), brought to print for the first time in three generations! NOTE: A second AURO was presented later in the Planet Comics series. Although the backstory of the second character states it is the same body but a different consciousness, for practical purposes of continuity and style, they are different character series.
