He was one of the most popular, most talented, and most successful of the singing and acting cowboys of the 20th Century, so much so that he was called, “The King....” A star of over 100 movies, a hit TV series, radio shows and appearances, and a highly-successful music career, Roy (1911-1998) won awards in all these venues and more.
