Usually printed in 3 - 5 business days
Leonard Brandt Cole (1918-1995) is considered one of the premier comic book artists of the Golden Age – but his work in comics went far beyond the pen and ink. He operated a comics studio which provided comics stories and issues for many Golden Age companies 1942-1948, operate his own Star Publications from 1949-1955 and was an editor and art director for Dell Publications in the 1960s and 1970s. His influence could not be overstated, but it was his artwork – his bold “poster” colors and creative drive for which he is celebrated today. Here we have over 250 pages of L.B. Cole covers and stories, collected for the first time in generations!
