The Man In Black (AKA Fate) COIL
Midcentury Comics #612-CL: He Sees All, Knows All, and He Will Hold You Accountable! The Complete Public Domain Collection
Usually printed in 3 - 5 business days
He referred to himself sometimes as Death, or Fate or Kismet – he was the teller of the story and sometimes a participant. He was host and actor, impassioned observer and also at times judge and jury. THE MAN IN BLACK was a shadowy figure, but well-dressed, and an entertaining narrator of adventures, misadventures and slightly macabre tales. In the 1940s he appeared in a number of different titles including Green Hornet, Terry and the Pirates, All New Comics and others (see page 2 for complete list). In the 1950s he had his own short-lived series. In the 80s and 90s revivals failed to take hold, but that could be because they did not have the skilled Bob Powell holding the pen! This is the complete public domain MAN IN BLACK collection!
