Comic master Reed Crandall (1917-1982) was as prolific as he was talented, working on many of the key Golden Age characters and comic titles, including Blackhawk, Doll Man, and many others; he is also well-know for his EC horror work. Crandall's work on the iconic UNCLE SAM patriotic hero was brief, but readers and collectors seek out his work on this important title. Gwandanaland Comics has pulled all his UNCLE SAM work into on great book: two complete stories, a special 2-page splash and 11 covers. Crandall's tenure on UNCLE SAM was all too brief, but too memorable to be forgotten!
